The Area
Ivy House is situated in the heart of the stunning North Wales town of Colwyn Bay. Colwyn Bay is a small but expanding town with a large number of attractions and amenities. The flats are situated in the Centre of the town within walking distance of the main bus route, to the surounding area, and the railway station. It is also a two minute drive from the A55 (The main artery through North Wales). Whether your travelling by car, train or bus there is always something to do in Colwyn Bay and the surrounding area. You could do some shopping in Llandudno (15 mins by bus, train or car) or go for a walk in the Snowdonia valleys.

Llandudno
This is a busteling town which is 8 miles from Colwyn Bay. It boasts excellent shopping, eating and has numerous traditional pubs. The town is very much a tourism driven town and therefore caters very well for visitors to the area. It is the hub of the North Wales tourism industry and
has a number of attractions, including the Dry Ski Slope and the Victorian Pier.
Conwy
The world famous Conwy Castle and the surrounding harbour is one of the most beautiful sites in North Wales. It is a 15 min car journey fom Colwyn Bay. The castle runs daily tours of the walls and the buildings connected to it. Conwy also boasts Britains smallet house which is on the harbour front an is well worth a visit.
Snowdonia
The valley of Snowdon and the area has some of the most spectacular scenery in North Wales including the largest mountain in Wales, mnt. Snowdon. While in the area there you have the fantastic opportunity to climb the great mountain, be it via the sheer faces or the leisurly inclines. You are also 30 minutes away from some of the North Wales Lakes such as Llyn Geirionydd a fantastic place for a relaxed family ramble.
Anglesey
If you are visiting in the summer you could pop over to Anglesy for the day and visit some of the wounderful restaurants, cafes and beaches it has to offer.
